Guest-count example
How much alcohol for 100 wedding guests
Use a worked 100-guest example, then adjust for event length and drinking profile.
A practical example for estimating wine, beer, spirits, and mixers for 100 adult wedding guests.
Start with event length
The calculator assumes guests drink more in the first hour and less in later hours, then applies the selected profile and buffer.
- Enter the number of adult guests.
- Set the reception length in hours.
- Choose light, average, or party profile based on the group.
Split the total into drink types
After the total is estimated, the calculator divides it into wine, beer, and spirits using the percentages you enter.
- Wine bottles assume roughly five servings per 750 ml bottle.
- Beer is counted as bottles or cans.
- Spirits and mixers are rough shopping-list estimates.
